About us

Care at Home. Care with Dignity. Care 24/7.

Arike Home Care is a community-rooted, professionally aligned initiative of IMA Cochin - restoring dignity, comfort, and quality of life for people living with serious health-related illness.

Who we are

A free, home-based care service, owned by its community.

Responding to the growing burden of chronic and life-limiting illness, Arike brings comprehensive home care into the familiarity of patients’ homes - medical, nursing, psychosocial, and supportive services, sustained by compassion and community participation.

Around-the-clock care

Home-based home care, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - with uninterrupted access to medical, nursing, and supportive services.

Always free

A free care model offered to every patient irrespective of financial status. Families contribute only if they wish to, and only voluntarily.

Community-owned

Trained volunteers and neighbourhood networks sustain care as a shared social responsibility - not merely a service delivered.

Our Vision

A world where the dignity of every person living with serious health-related suffering is restored through personalised, home-based care - for all strata of society, irrespective of socioeconomic status.

Our Mission

  • Provide 24/7 professional home-based care, including home visits and teleconsultation.
  • Engage and empower communities through neighbourhood network programmes, fostering shared responsibility in healthcare.
  • Reduce the burden of serious health suffering by integrating technology that enhances efficiency, coordination, and quality of care.
  • Strengthen the home care ecosystem through training, mentorship, and capacity-building for providers, volunteers, and caregivers.
  • Expand access by collaborating with government schemes, CSR initiatives, and bio-cluster programmes to reach the most vulnerable.
